No fight is too tough
My name is Darci Vierra. I am 17 years old, and I’ve spent my whole life growing up in Norwell, Massachusetts, a small town only a short drive away from the infamous sports city, Boston! I am currently a senior at Norwell High School where I am the captain of my soccer team. Though our town is commonly referred to as “Borewell”, there is nothing boring about my team. I can promise, with the amount of heart we put into our practices and our games, no fight is too tough for us.
Outside of high school soccer, I am a member of the Scorpions Soccer Club. I’ve been playing for the Scorpions for about 11 years now. My teammates are basically a second family by this point. Playing with the Scorpions has given me the opportunity to get recruited by different colleges around the country. Last March, I committed to play for a great coach and a great school, Jim McGirr at Providence College, a Division 1 school in the Big East Conference. I will be a member of the Friars team starting in the fall of 2012.
